Ernest Johnson Clemency Petition Drop, Sep. 29th, 2021

For several months we have had countless individuals and organizations from across the state stand in solidarity for Ernest Johnson, a Black man with an intellectual disability, who is scheduled for execution in Missouri on Oct. 5th, 2021. As mounting pleas for clemency come in from across the state and nation, your support to Ernest Johnson has given him and all who are working for him strength. We know that Ernest is beyond grateful for all the support given to him.


On September 29th, 2021 at 11AM, MADP along with the Missouri State Conference of the NAACP, and the ACLU of Missouri held a rally and petition drop for Ernest Johnson at the Missouri State Capitol.
