On August 28th, a rally for Marcellus Williams and Ernest Johnson was held at the Old Courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri. We want to thank all who attended and are incredibly grateful to have been able to hold space with Bobby Johnson, Ernest Johnson's eldest brother.
We were joined by members of Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, The Council on American-Islam Relations in Missouri, Northwest Islamic Center of St. Louis, Imam Council of Metropolitan St. Louis, Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri, Manasseh Ministry, Organization for Black Struggle, Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc., and the Peace and Justice Commission at the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Our continued thanks to all our speakers who imparted upon us the encouragement and resilience needed in facing the atrocities of the injustice system, and for uplifting those inside Missouri prisons who are wrongfully convicted.
We continue to ask all to support and take action for Marcellus (Khalifa) Williams and Ernest Johnson.
