(Jefferson City)-- On Monday, January 30th, an attorney for Mr. Taylor meet with Governor Parson's counsel to review the Application for Executive Clemency. They write:
we respectfully ask the Governor to exercise his discretion and mercy and commute Mr. Taylor’ sentence for murder from death by lethal injection to life without parole. Alternatively, his execution should be stayed pending possible future proceedings before a Board of Inquiry. Mr. Taylor his family, his counsel, and the public will await the Governor’s decision.
