The statewide network of Missourians working to end the use of the death penalty in Missouri is planning vigils in nine cities across the state on Tuesday, August 5 to raise awareness and call attention to the case of John Middleton, who faces execution on Wednesday, August 6.
Bonne Terre: 11pm on the 5th until after the execution at midnight. Some will carpool from the St. Louis vigil to this one. Jefferson City, Capitol vigil: Tuesday, August 5th, 12pm. A respectful Vigil for Life outside of the Governors office in the state Capitol. Room 216 on the second floor of the state capitol.
