Chris McDaniel sued the Missouri Department of Corrections in 2014 for failing to disclose the drugs and suppliers used in the lethal injection administered for the death penalty in Missouri. Even though the Cole County Circuit Court of Missouri ruled in his favor, the DOC has yet to release the suppliers for this deadly cocktail that sometimes ends up in botched executions. McDaniel, in an attempt to test the verdict, has continued asking for this public information and has, as of yet, only received documents with the requested information redacted. Because of this McDaniel announced earlier this month that he is going back to court.
